The inspiration for creating this collection comes from my educational background. I majored in web design in my undergraduate years. At that time, many courses dealt with how to construct web pages or how to write code. The word ‘code’ accompanied me during my university life and it is of great significance.

 

The reason why I chose “decoding” as the name of my collection is that I believe graphic design solves problems with visual language and makes information understandable. The whole process of graphic design is the same as decoding; that is, trying to find different ways and languages to solve puzzles and simplify complex information.
